Cheezem Center Rental Policies and Rates
The Cheezem Education Center is located in Patrick Square Town Center, just south of the Highway 123/Issaqueena Trail intersection. While the Center is home to the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute certain spaces within the building are available for other group use.
The Cheezem Education Center has ample parking around the Town Square, and several neighborhood restaurants are available to cater. Or you may choose the caterer you most prefer. The building is accessible and houses an AED on the first floor. An OLLI representative will be present in the Center during all rentals, for assistance and emergencies. As a Clemson University facility, the Cheezem Education Center follows all University facility policies and procedures. Clemson University is tobacco free.

The Center currently has the following spaces available for rent by University groups, non-profit entities, community organizations, businesses and individuals:
The Auditorium
University/ Non-profit: $255, For Profit: $290
Rental is per 4-hour period
Seats 70 adults lecture style or 50 adults seated at tables. Rental fee includes access to the demonstration kitchen and lounge area, as well as A/V set up (ceiling mounted projector, laptop, remote and laser pointer). Limited tables available.
The Lawn
University/ Non-profit: $155, For Profit: $190
Rental is per 4-hour period
Accessed through two auditorium doors, this area may be tented and will seat 100 adults at tables. Rental fee includes use only; tents, tables, chairs, and other equipment must be provided by the renter.
Classroom 202
University/ Non-profit: $85, For Profit: $105
Rental is per 4-hour period
Art studio or science lab arrangement with 12 individual work stations and chairs, as well as a wall-mounted whiteboard. The room is not equipped with window shades.
Classroom 203

Holds 20 seated at provided classroom tables; 52” monitor with laptop provided.
Classroom 204
University/ Non-profit: $120, For Profit: $150

Holds 28 adults seated at provided classroom tables; large wall-mounted screen and a/v cart with projector and laptop provided.
Classroom 205

Kitchen

* If the rental period extends before or after normal business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or occurs on the weekend, an after-hours surcharge of $50 per four-hour period will be included in the final invoice.
